Applying for Financial Aid

The Student Financial Aid & Scholarships Office at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) can help determine financial eligibility and obtain assistance.  Tri-C uses the Free Application for Federal Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) to determine financial need and distribute funds to those who have the fewest financial resources.  To increase the chances of getting maximum aid based on eligibility, be sure to file by the deadline.  Financial aid may be in the form of scholarships, grants, loans and/or college work-study.

You only need to complete an initial FAFSA application once per academic year beginning with fall semester.  We highly suggest you fill out your FAFSA as soon as you file your federal income taxes.  The application becomes available October 1st every year for the upcoming fall term.
